Manchester Terrier

The Manchester Terrier is a breed that originated in England during the 19th century. It was bred to be a working dog and was used for hunting rats, as well as other small game such as rabbits. This breed comes in two varieties: Standard and Toy.

Physical Appearance:
The Standard Manchester Terrier stands between 15-16 inches tall at the shoulder and weighs around 12-22 pounds. The Toy variety is smaller, standing only about 10-12 inches tall and weighing up to ten pounds. Both types have smooth coats that are black with tan markings.
