The Doberman Pinscher is a breed that originated in Germany during the late 19th century. It was bred by Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann, who worked as a tax collector and needed protection when on duty. The breed was designed to be alert, fearless, and agile – ideal for guarding their owner’s homes or serving as police dogs.
Physical Appearance:
Doberman Pinschers are large dogs standing around 24-28 inches tall at the shoulder with a weight ranging from 60-100 pounds depending on gender. They have short hair coats that come in black, brown, red or blue hues and they may have markings on their chest and feet. One of their distinctive physical features is their tapered muzzle along with erect ears.
Temperament:
