Despite this, owners will want to make sure they are exercised on a consistent basis. The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier is excellent for those that live in apartments. They will also be active if they are placed outside, but they only need to be placed in a small yard. Owners will want to protect them during the summer, as they cannot tolerate excessive heat. Special Grooming NeedsOwners will want to make sure these dogs retain a natural look. If the coat is brushed too frequently, it can become fuzzy. It is best to avoid using a brush, and owners will want to use a comb instead. Using a comb daily will stop tangles from developing, and owners will want to begin grooming these dogs while they are puppies.
