Norwegian Lundehund Pictures and Information

Norwegian Lundehund Description

The Norwegian Lundehund is unsurprisingly a dog that originates in Norway. It is a small dog that was commonly used to hunt puffins. It has a beautiful appearance that could be likened to a fox or wolf, and the ears should stand erect on the head. The Norwegian Lundehund is known for its ability to fit into small places. The front legs of these dogs can turn 90 degrees, and it is also skilled at climbing cliffs. It is different from most dogs because it features a sixth toe which allows it to climb rough terrain. This breed features a double coat that is soft on the inside and thick on the outside. The ideal coat colors for this breed are white, light brown, and a small amount of grey or black. The tail should hang over the rear in a tight curve.
