They can gain weight quickly, so owners will only want to feed them the necessary amounts of food. The Clumber Spaniel has a maximum life expectancy of 12 years. ExerciseA young Clumber Spaniel will need to get large amounts of exercise. Once they become adults, they are not as active. Playing fetch will an adult Clumber Spaniel will allow them to get all the exercise they need. They should also be taken for walks, but this should only be done in cool weather. They can live in an apartment if they get good amounts of exercise. Special Grooming NeedsThe coat should be brushed or combed each day. Clumber Spaniels will shed large amounts of fur.
